Highlights of updated platform include Twilio Integration enabling increased flexibility and ease of business for customers

Boston, Mass – March 10, 2015 – Dane Street, a leading provider of independent medical examinations (IMEs) and peer review services to the Workers’ Compensation, Auto, Disability, and Group Health markets, today announced the proprietary AccessDS platform has been enhanced with opt-in, automated voice and text capability, bringing improved workflow efficiency to Dane Street clients.

The integration point between Twilio and Dane Street leverages the rules-based, event- driven technology platform of Dane Street, AccessDS, allowing Dane Street clients further customization options around IME communication and notification protocols in accordance with their preferred IME best practices.

“Timely communication with all constituents—claimants, physicians, attorneys and adjusters—is one of the top critical factors in managing IME timelines,” said Dan Macon, Chief Technology Officer of Dane Street. “The AccessDS platform provides our clients with options to automate specific touch points via text and voice, giving them assurance that claims tasks are taking place consistently, and with an audit trail for their claims examiners. We believe this commitment to both client-specific claims best practices and technology innovation is a reason we stand apart in our very competitive industry.”

“Twilio is excited to be the communications platform that helps Dane Street provide more complete communications options for their customers in the insurance industry,” said Rob Brewster, Vice President of Global Sales, Twilio. “Dane Street’s integration with Twilio provides insurance carriers with flexible communication options that can better address the needs of their customers and provide a higher level of customer engagement.”
