HITRUST is a certification standard built specifically for the healthcare industry. By including federal and state regulations, standards and frameworks, it offers a benchmark to measure and manage compliance in meeting HIPAA security rule requirements. A third-party assessment verifies the organization has met all of the industry-defined certification requirements.
